Welcome to Robert Ford’s Fiction page.
I have been writing fiction as a hobby since the early 1980s. In 1984, without knowing it, I started a tradition for myself of writing an annual Christmas Story.
It seems odd to be setting up WordPress for the stories when the first one was typed on an IBM Selectric, photocopied and sent by Canada Post.
Many of the stories involve time travel and I’m heavily influence by Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and its subsequent interpretations.
