Plan C – The Hernia Diet

Might as well borrow from Henry V: “Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more.”

Plan C is Plan B (i.e. removing the 4 Horsemen of the Lard Apocalypse, specifically wheat, corn, potato and rice) but with a twist. A hernia! Actually if this hernia twists any more I’ll be in real trouble.

Also Plan C is three weeks long, not 12 days.

On the weekend I did a yoga class and something I did really inflamed the area. Since I was wearing the belt and it was a straightforward yoga class, I’m perplexed. I saw my doctor on Friday and he’s referring me to a surgeon. I’m going to call in and ask for a bit more urgency on that. I’d rather have his choice of a surgeon than risk being chopped up by the emergency on call surgeon.

Exactly how this is going to play out will be interesting.
