Today I have a sense of plateauing. Perhaps it’s because I did Mary Killer Homework and the long ride home, but felt only nominally worked-out. I did not feel wrecked, which has been common up to this point.
But, I’m also convinced I started off in far worse physical condition (i.e. a bigger overall hill to climb) than I imagined. In two months the numbers reveal will tell the story. I need to make sure I don’t lose the focus during this middle month of the plan. One thing about fitness and diet is that the effects are cumulative and there’s no realistic way to do the equivalent of cramming for the exam. |
