I may live to regret adding cycling. Ouch-y.
Yesterday’s weigh-in was a 1.4 pound loss for the week. See the chart below to see an average of exactly 2 pounds per week over five weeks. I still don’t look at the actual weight. I need to feel like I’m in a truly new range before I want that data. The relatively low number for the week caused the negative self talk to pound on me.
I tried to use the fear of another plateau (the last one lasted a couple of years) to try to see if I was doing anything off plan. Well I do. There’s what I call sneak carbs. A chip here or there. A leftover from my son. Locking that stuff down would likely help.
The other angle is acceptance. I never had a weight loss trend like this during any of the Phases of the Mutant Diet. Put that in the win column and try not to lose your mind.
I am waiting at the doctor’s office. Need to re-do blood pressure meds. I have to talk to him because the recent readings are decidedly lower. I’m assuming a combo of the meds and weight loss. But I don’t recall 10 pounds making that big a difference in BP.
